Terms and Conditions for Event Space Rental
Welcome to our Event Space Rental service. By selecting the “Confirm and Pay” option for your booking, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. These conditions are designed to ensure a clear understanding of your responsibilities and to facilitate a successful event.
1. Use of Event Space
– The space is provided solely for the purpose specified in your booking and must not be used for any illegal activities. Compliance with all applicable laws, including those related to noise, alcohol, and fire safety, is required.
2. Booking and Rental Period
– The duration of your booking is as specified in the confirmation. Access to the event space will be granted strictly according to the times agreed upon.
3. Financial Terms
– A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total rental fee is required to secure your booking. The balance must be paid in full before the start of your event.
– A security deposit is required at the time of booking confirmation. This deposit will be returned post-event, subject to deductions for damages or cleaning charges as applicable.
4. Insurance Requirements
– You must obtain valid public liability insurance for your event. Proof of insurance must be submitted prior to the event as specified in your booking confirmation.
5. Cancellation Policy
– The deposit is non-refundable. Cancellation terms vary depending on the notice period provided and are detailed in your booking confirmation.
– The landlord reserves the right to cancel bookings under certain conditions. Refund policies in such cases are also outlined in your booking confirmation.
6. Equipment and Damages
– Proper use and care of any provided equipment and the event space itself are your responsibility. You will be charged for any damages incurred.
7. Cleanliness and Maintenance
– The event space will be provided in a clean condition and must be returned in the same state. Additional cleaning fees may apply if the space is not left clean.
8. Access for Inspection
– The landlord reserves the right to access the event space for inspections during your booking period, provided reasonable notice is given.
9. Indemnification
– You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the landlord from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your event or breach of these terms.
10. Agreement Acceptance
– By proceeding with the “Confirm and Pay” option, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions, making the agreement binding.
11. Governing Law
– This agreement is governed by the laws of Barbados.
